…was a blast!!!! The recipes on the plan were really easy to cook and so delicious especially week one, it’s like no more “usual” fried rice for me anymore I’m completely sold to Cabbage fried rice and to think before LIN I would never eat cabbage. Oh and okra and garri….YES PLS!!!! Still can’t process how you can eat garri and still lose weight.
The WhatsApp group was so helpful, the LiN team and other participants were so helpful. This has to be the best challenge I’ve been in so far 1) I lost 4kg in week one alone, easy to cook meals with added knowledge of what and why 3) The group was great! Learnt so much, felt so motivate I started to exercise again and I’ve got the drive I needed to get back on track!

Plan was good and the WhatsApp group was very helpful in answering questions and also giving me motivation. Less than 2kg lost on the scale but I fell better in my clothes. I was not that consistent as I have in to so many cravings. I am giving myself some time and will start LDD soon. LIN helps me to be disciplined

I started my weight loss journey February of this year and I lost significant amount of weight just working out and counting my Calories. I realised that working out was pretty easy after going through the initial soreness but where I suffered the most was my diet! First I set a calorie intake that was difficult to keep up. I went to bed hungry at times didnt have enough energy, I was also avoiding carbs and fat. It was so hard! After the Easter celebration in April and all the eating that happened , my mouth and tummy became completely uncontrolable. I decided to join the LIN Total blast challenge in May in an effort to get myself back on track. In the meal plan I had 3 meals plus veggie/fruit allowance daily. The meals were tasty and easy to prepare. Most important I was never hungry! There was 24/7 LIN support to get questions answered and cheer you on. To my surprise I lost 3.8kg in just 2 weeks ( challenge start weight 83.25kg down to 79.45kg) I also lost significant inches on my waistline and hips. Who would have thought it was possible to eat good food and lose weight! There was soup and swallow, rice, boli name it! I exercised during the program and even before but the difference was clear when I ate following the plan. I slept better, better bowel movement, I can go on.
I gained better understanding of meal portions, how to prepare regular meals that are tasty, filling without compromising my goals. I have decided that LINing is the easiest and most realistic way to reach my weight loss goal and then move on to maintaining. So many lessons learnt!

The plan was amazing !!! I lost almost 5Kg on the plan and you have breakfast, lunch and dinner with an allowance for snacks as well. It made me much more disciplined with food and also made me realise we don’t need to eat so much. bulking with veggies is the key !!

I enjoyed every bit of the foods in the plan. The plan gives you choices so you can repeat the plan or have two to three lunch and dinner options. It helped me curb my hunger so much that after week 1, I started eating only 2 meals per day. In total, I lost about 6kg with partial compliance. I can only imagine how much I would have lost if I was 100% compliant.
