Simi sat down with us to discuss losing 20kg and maintaining it for years. She had to change her diet after being told at a routine doctor’s appointment that she was prediabetic at 21. That kickstarted her LIN journey. It took her about 4 months to go from 90kg to 70kg.

Here are some of the tips she shared:

  1. Start the day with water or tea. Sip on more over the course of the day.
  2. Create a healthy lifestyle and eating habit and be consistent with it.
  3. Understand that your journey is a marathon, not a sprint.
  4. Life happens and things won’t always be perfect. Dust yourself off every time and keep going.
  5. Eat your actual meals to curb mindless snacking.
